Families can connect with one another and expect to learn how milk is made, how to initiate breastfeeding, how to control engorgement, proper latch, how to know baby is well fed, how to maintain breastfeeding moving past the first week and how to set up a supportive breastfeeding journey.

About the event
Families can connect with one another and expect to learn how milk is made, how to initiate breastfeeding, how to control engorgement, proper latch, how to know baby is well fed, how to maintain breastfeeding moving past the first week and how to set up a supportive breastfeeding journey. The class is taught by Lauren Jones, Certified Lactation Counselor and Owner of Realistically Fed. Please bring your partner or another support person if they can come!
Parking for the Library is on the 4th floor of the Library Parking Garage on 6th ave. You will enter the library from the 4th floor of the garage. Bring your parking ticket in with you to validate at the front desk after the class. Parking is free for 1.5 hours (hopefully the class ends before then).
